Why shanties and the like?
We enjoy shanties and Swindon is about as far from the sea as you can get in the South of England, so what better choice could there be?

Our repertoire includes traditional and contemporary pieces. Some of our songs have instrumental accompaniment but most are unaccompanied.

We play guitar and bass guitar, various percussion instruments and anything else we can get sound out of. We have very different musical backgrounds from Traditional Music and Folk song to Blues and Rock and Roll. We draw upon our wide variety of musical experiences and influences to create the arrangements of the music we sing and play. We love performing and seeing our audience having a good time and joining in.
